To me, Encyclopedia is a collection of knowledge from the world. It is not difficult to imagine that due to the well developed internet world, a form of encyclopedia exist in the internet channel, called Wikipedia.

It's a free for access, edited by volunteers from different places in the world encyclopedia. Beware of the terms volunteer, no one force people to do so but all initiated by themselves. This is the internet power that even any publication organziations, any educational insititutes, governments, countries can able to do so.
